Position: IT Field Service Engineer (IT hardware maintenance service on server/ network/storage preventive)

 Location: Ubi - (Nearest MRT: UBI Station - 14 minute walk)

 Working hours: 5 days work week; Monday to Friday: 9am - 6pm/ Remote mode after working hours/Sat/Sun/Public Holiday

 Salary (commensurate with experience): Gross up to $6000 (Basic Salary up to $4500 + Overtime allowance) + AWS + Allowance for mobile phone; Education Subsidy if applicable + Group Medical Plan

 Main Responsibilities:

 Provide post sales maintenance support on servers/storage (IBM/HP/DELL/SUN) and operating systems (Linux/Unix/Windows) at customer locations;

 Troubleshooting and replacement of hardware;

 Troubleshooting of operating system;

 Handling of hardware migration/implementation project;

 Perform preventive and proactive maintenance;

 Escalation and management of complex issues.

 Requirements:

 Diploma holder or above in Computer Engineering/Science or related discipline;

 Possessed at least 3 years of experience in IT hardware maintenance service on server, network and storage preventive. 

 Strong server and storage hardware configuration knowledge will be an advantage;

 Be a quick learner in acquiring new system skills and working with new technologies;

 Capable of using operating systems: Microsoft Windows, Unix, ESX, and Linux are preferable;

 Proficiency in solving computer hardware related issues for IBM, DELL, and HP;

 Able to provide nonoffice hours standby and support service

 Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates in view of business communications
