Job Description

Position : Project Engineer (Fire Protection/CCTV/CCTV) 

 Location : Bukit Merah (3 bus stops from Tiong Bahru MRT) 

 Working hours : 5 days work week: Monday- Friday: 8.30am – 6.00pm 

 Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $4000 basic + Variable Bonus + Medical 

 Duration : Permanent

 Industry : Quantifying System

 

 

Main Responsibilities:

 


Support sales personnel for pre-sales activities,

proposing solution that suits customer needs & resolve related solution for site preparation, installation, start-up, commissioning, repair and maintenance of Electrical Power System, Structural cabling, Fire suppression system, UPS, Security Access and CCTV Monitoring System etc.

To supervise and oversee the work progress of project sites. This includes attending to site meeting, coordinating with appointed sub-contractors of various services to see to a smooth completion of projects.

Assisting the Electrical Service Department in providing technical support

to our staff, customers and dealers.

Prepare and maintain all project management documentation in accordance to company’s best practices.

Planning and monitoring the project to ensure successful completion within planned timeline as well as status of progress-in-work and report all matters related to project and services.

Perform a complete in-house testing of Power equipment's.

Answer and attend to service calls, fault-finding, repair and trouble-shooting of Electrical System and Power equipment malfunction.

Establish and maintain excellent relationships with the customer project team, supplier, sub-contractors and clients.

Coordinate and liaise with PEs and/or site supervisors on detail drawings, layout planning and understanding of site requirements.

Prepare, submit and follow up with applications to the relevant authorities or building management where required.

Preparation of electrical products data & engineering drawing in AutoCAD (2D, 3D).

Assigned with other job duties and functions as may be instructed from time to time by your superior or the management.

 

 

Requirements:

 


Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients who can converse in Mandarin only

Minimum of Diploma in electrical or electronics engineering 

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in site project co-ordination work 

Able to read Electronic/Electrical Charger circuit diagram

Ability to read and understand plans and drawings and some electrical background.
