The Opportunity:
Adecco is partnering with a Japanese MNC manufacturer of automotive products, and we are looking for a Supply Chain Operations Coordinator (Shipping, Purchase Order) to join their business!
Proven ability to work in fast-paced environment, with experience generating high volume of Purchase Orders (POs) monthly. Capable of independently and liaising with forwarders for transshipment.
Permanent, Full-time opportunity
Location: Central region, near Labrador Park
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm
Salary Package: up to $4,000 basic + Transport Allowance + AWS + VB + Yearly Increment
The Job:
Manage daily shipment activities, including generating and sending purchase orders, and shipping documents (Incoterms, Commercial Invoices and Bills of Lading).
Coordinate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and freight forwarders.
Handle supplier and customer relations, managing order backlogs and forecasts.
Oversee inventory control, focusing on temporary stock and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) stock.
Conduct cost analysis, with a focus on cargo and logistics costs.
Perform additional tasks as assigned.
The Talent:
Min Diploma holder.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar environment.
Knowledge and experience in using incoterms.
Experience issuing/generating high volume of Purchase Orders (POs).
Experience liaising with forwarders for overseas shipments (import and export).
