This exciting role as a Sales Manager (Project Sales/Industrial/Infrastructure) will see you driving the sales process for large-scale projects with our client. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for winning new business/projects and managing complex sales cycles to support the company's strategic growth objectives. This full-time position offers the opportunity to utilize your deep industry expertise and exceptional sales skills within a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
What you'll be doing
Identify and qualify new business opportunities for major projects in the mechanical/industrial engineering industry
Lead the sales process from initial engagement through to contract negotiation and closure
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target accounts
Collaborate closely with the technical, project delivery, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution
Closely monitor the competitive landscape and industry trends to develop winning sales strategies
Accurately forecast sales pipeline and revenue, providing transparent reporting to leadership
Contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes and tools
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience working on Industrial or Infrastructure projects from a technical or sales perspective.
Proven track record of managing complex, high-value projects, exceeding $450k and achieving sales targets
Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, products, and applications
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to effectively engage with C-suite stakeholders
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build trusted relationships
Proficient in using CRM and sales enablement tools to drive efficiency and productivity
Passion for delivering innovative solutions that create value for customers
