Role 1 (Bank Operations Officer):
Oversee the entire Merchant Onboarding Application process, ensuring smooth coordination and timely approvals.
Act as the primary point of contact for merchant inquiries, providing prompt assistance and resolution.
Maintain regular communication with merchants, providing periodic updates on their application status.
Track sales referrals from banking business units and various sales channels.
Generate and compile weekly sales tracking and merchant onboarding reports for internal review.
Perform administrative tasks, including document verification and system record checks, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Support the sales team in daily operations to achieve departmental objectives.
Develop a strong understanding of payment services and merchant requirements to enhance client support.
Assist with ad-hoc projects, administrative duties, and other tasks as assigned.
This role requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams to enhance the merchant onboarding experience
Role 3 (Bank IT Officer):
Payment implementation support role to help our prospects and existing commercial cardholders merchants to integrate onto UOB’s full suite of payment solution eg ecommerce solutions.
To understand Commercial Cards / Merchant business model and provide solutions that best fit their needs through enabling an efficient E2E user journey.
Enable an efficient workflow process across all stakeholders involved in the onboarding process for Commercial Cards / Merchants onto UOB’s payment platforms
Provide solutions to streamline existing process through the use of macros, datasheets etc.
Coordinate with 3rd party partners / vendors for fault resolution in a timely manner.
Manage all payment and technical related issues raised by clients or stakeholders. This includes technical and operational-related investigations.
Evolve to be an expert in this niche payment space which includes the suite commercial card solutions, credit card payment gateway like Apple Pay and Google Pay etc.
Any other ad-hoc duties.
Role 2 (Bank Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Officer):
Partner with stakeholders to understand their resourcing requirements and fulfil the request effectively and efficiently within the turnaround time
Actively tracking and following up on the status from request to fulfilment on a timely manner
Source for the right resource pool of capabilities that meets cost and requirements from the panel of temporary resourcing suppliers
Manage relationship with suppliers and review their performance on resource management related metrics such as turnaround to present profiles, fulfilment turnaround time, candidate quality and attrition rate
Review and facilitate the temporary resource contracts for signing and Purchase Requisition (PR) process
Address and resolve temporary resource related issues, escalation and inform management as necessary for resource requirements
Identify and continuously improve resource fulfilment processes and other resourcing/ workforce initiatives
Support data analysis and reporting on supplier’s performance and any other requirement as required
