Responsibilities:
Oversee daily warehouse operations – oversee inbound receiving, inter warehouse transfer (IWT), reverse logistics, cycle count and export shipment.
Supervise and lead warehouse staff – manage, coach, and monitor performance of warehouse team members.
Coordinate inventory control – conduct and support regular inventory checks, cycle counts and reconcile physical stock with system records.
Maintain warehouse safety compliance – ensure all safety rules, health standards, and regulatory requirements are followed within the warehouse.
Implement and monitor SOPs – enforce standard operation procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse activities and help update procedures for better efficiency.
Manage import shipments – liaise with local forwarders to arrange shipment truck in and out. To check accuracy of import receiving and putaway.
Assist with system and data management – update warehouse system, handle stock IWT transactions and database entries.
Manage stock discrepancies – investigate stock variances, oversee adjustments, and implement corrective actions for inventory errors.
Support continuous improvement – identify and suggest workflow improvements, cost-saving ideas, and efficiency initiatives.
Handle ad-hoc duties – carry out additional tasks assigned by the warehouse manager or senior management as required.
