Shipping Executive (Bulk Shipment) - Letter of credit
Trading industry
Experience in Letter of credit and handling bulk shipment is a must.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with finance to prepare the LC draft and liaise with the counterparty(ies). Handle Letters of Credit and shipping documents and coordinate shipping operations activities.
Prepare and review all import and export documents, ensuring all documents are compliant as per LC terms, BL checking & switching.
Updating daily reports of activities during loading barge and mother vessel and compiling the summary report for every shipment. Ensure all operational and trade information is entered into Customer Relationship Management systems.
Propose and implement initiatives to streamline documentation processes, reduce errors, and enhance overall efficiency.
Supporting the Marketing Team in providing the necessary information and documents needed for closing a deal.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or equivalent.
With 1 - 3 years of working experience as Import/ Export Executive in shipping company is advantage.
Knowledge in Trade financing is a must.
Experience in Letter of credit is a must.
Good knowledge on Incoterms, Taxation, Import & Export documents and Trade Compliance.
Experiences in handling multi countries market for Import & Export is a must.
Good team player with the ability to work independently.
Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
