Job Description

Account Receivables (Freight Forwarding / Logistics)


Location : Bukit Merah (Few bus stops from Tiong Bahru MRT)


Working hours : 5 days (Monday-Friday office hours)


Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $4000 +Allowance + AWS +Bonus + Mobile + 14 days Annual leave


Duration :Permanent


Industry : Logistics/Freight - MNC




Responsibilities:


Review and verify invoices generated by Operations for accuracy and completeness


Issue invoices for GST disbursements, reimbursements, and billing adjustments


Ensure proper documentation and audit trail for all billing transactions


Process credit notes, debit notes, and contra transactions


Coordinate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes


Handle overseas billing and multi-currency transactions


Perform Accounts Receivable monitoring (aging, collections, credit control)


Ensure compliance with Singapore GST regulations (IRAS requirements)


Prepare monthly reconciliations and AR reports


Support freight/accounting systems (e.g., Freight Master or similar)


Provide ad-hoc support to AP function when required


Perform other duties as assigned


Requirements:


Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline


Minimum 2–3 years of Accounts Receivable experience, preferably in freight forwarding or logistics industry


Experience in billing operations including invoice verification, credit/debit notes and contra transactions


Knowledge of Singapore GST regulations and IRAS compliance requirements


Experience handling overseas and multi-currency transactions


Experience in credit control and receivables management


Familiar with freight forwarding documents such as BL, AWB, DO and NOA


Experience using Freight Master (FM) system or similar software will be an advantage
