Join our team as a Supermarket Packer (Fruits & Vegetables) at our Orchard location, working 6 days a week from 8.30am to 5.30pm with permanent employment status. This role offers a competitive salary package including basic pay, overtime, $50 transport allowance, Annual Wage Supplement (AWS), and a performance bonus, giving you a rewarding work experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Prepare and trim vegetables for packing and display.
- Pack fruits and vegetables neatly according to company standards.
- Accurately label packed items with product details and pricing.
- Organize and present fruits and vegetables on shelves and display areas.
- Inspect products for quality, removing any damaged or expired items.
- Replenish stock and ensure work areas remain clean and orderly.
- Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned to support daily operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Comfortable handling a variety of fruits and vegetables.
- Capable of standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced supermarket environment.
- Willing to work on weekends, public holidays, and flexible shifts as needed.
