We are seeking a Retail Assistant (Fruits & Vegetables) to join our team at Orchard. This permanent position offers flexible shift schedules, including morning, afternoon, and full-day shifts, with 6 days off per month. The role comes with a competitive salary package including basic pay, overtime, $50 transport allowance, AWS, and a performance bonus. You will be part of a dynamic environment in the wholesale food trade, providing top-notch service to our customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Stock, arrange, and replenish products on shelves and display areas.
• Ensure products are fresh by monitoring expiry dates and shelf life.
• Inspect items for quality and remove any damaged or expired products.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, shelves, and display counters daily.
• Deliver courteous and efficient service to all customers.
• Assist customers with inquiries regarding products.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety guidelines.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned to support the team.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Comfortable handling and managing fruits and vegetables.
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced supermarket environment.
• Willingness to work weekends, public holidays, and shifts as required.
