Working within a high-security Cashroom environment, this role is responsible for counting, verifying, and reconciling large volumes of cash and luxury valuables transported for global banks and corporate clients. It combines meticulous administrative data entry with demanding physical labor under strict security protocols.
Responsibilities
Currency Processing & Reconciliation: Process, verify, and reconcile inbound and outbound currency transactions. Prepare outbound currency orders and replenishments.
System Data Entry: Log all transaction details into internal systems and handle check imaging utilizing specific software (Nautilus, BTMS, VTM).
Discrepancy Escalation: Monitor balances continuously; identify and instantly report any financial discrepancies to the shift supervisor to maintain an accurate audit trail.
Security & SOP Compliance: Strictly adhere to the company’s Security Controls and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to mitigate any risk of loss or property damage.
End-of-Day Closeout: Clean workstations, bundle trash per protocol, sort payment slips, print check manifests, and ensure all paperwork is properly filed.
Requirements
Physical Capacity
Heavy Lifting: Must be physically strong and fit enough to lift and carry up to 22kg (50 lbs) of cash or luxury goods.
Endurance: Ability to stand for long periods throughout the day.
