Freight Operations Supervisor – Air, Sea & Land

Location: Tuas

Working Days: Monday to Friday, Saturday Half Day

Working Hours: 9.00AM - 6.00PM, 9.00AM to 1.00PM

Salary: Basic up to $5,000 + Performance Bonus

Our client is an established freight forwarding and logistics service provider supporting air, sea and land shipments. They are currently looking for a Freight Operations Supervisor to oversee daily freight operations, coordinate shipments and guide the operations team.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily freight operations, including air, sea and land shipments.

Coordinate shipment bookings, schedules, deliveries and operational follow-ups.

Supervise and guide the operations team to meet service and performance targets.

Handle escalations, customer issues and shipment-related challenges promptly.

Liaise with carriers, agents, warehouses and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

Check and ensure accuracy of shipping documents, including BL, AWB, invoices and permits.

Ensure compliance with customs requirements, import/export procedures and regulations.

Monitor shipment progress, manage delays and provide timely updates.

Support cost control through efficient shipment planning and resource coordination.

Review workflows and recommend process improvements to improve efficiency.

Requirements:

Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent.

Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, freight forwarding or supply chain operations.

Good knowledge of import/export procedures and shipping documentation.

Able to lead a team and manage daily operational issues independently
