The Opportunity:
Adecco is partnering with an established multinational automotive organisation to hire a Logistics Executive to support regional ocean freight procurement, carrier management and logistics operations across the region.
This is an excellent opportunity for logistics professionals looking to gain regional exposure beyond day-to-day operations, with opportunities to work on freight sourcing, carrier negotiations, logistics analysis and cross-functional projects within a global business environment.
Employment Type:1-Year Contract (Convertible/Extendable based on performance)
Location:Central Region
Working Hours:Mon - Fri, 8.30am to 5.30pm (staggered hours available)
Salary Package:Up to $4,000 + Completion Bonus
The Job:
Support regional ocean freight procurement and carrier sourcing activities.
Coordinate annual freight tenders and carrier negotiations with shipping lines.
Monitor freight market trends, shipping capacity and logistics costs.
Analyse freight data, shipment volumes and prepare logistics reports.
Maintain freight rates, contract databases and operational records.
Liaise with regional stakeholders, shipping lines and internal teams.
Support freight invoice verification, payment processing and monthly closing.
Participate in logistics system enhancements and process improvement initiatives.
The Talent:
Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related discipline.
1-2 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding or shipping.
Exposure to ocean freight, carrier management or freight procurement is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
Familiarity with Incoterms and SAP/ERP systems will be an added advantage.
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
