As a Warehouse Production Ops professional, you will be at the heart of our supply chain operations, overseeing the coordination and execution of warehouse activities to meet our operational targets and deliver exceptional service to our customers. Your expertise will directly impact our ability to process orders efficiently, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure timely deliveries.

Key responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatching of goods

Monitor warehouse productivity and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs

Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits and maintain accurate warehouse records and documentation

Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations within the warehouse facility

Train, supervise and motivate warehouse staff to maintain high standards of performance and safety

Liaise with logistics, procurement and sales teams to ensure smooth coordination of warehouse activities

Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions to minimise disruptions

Maintain and optimise warehouse layout and storage systems for maximum efficiency

Monitor equipment maintenance and report any defects or maintenance requirements

Prepare and present performance reports on warehouse operations, including KPIs and metrics

What we're looking for

Proven experience in warehouse operations, production control or logistics coordination, ideally in a fast-paced distribution environment

Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and proficiency with inventory tracking software

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Demonstrated leadership ability and experience supervising warehouse staff

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure

Knowledge of health, safety and environmental best practices in warehousing

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records

Ability to work flexibly, including potential shift work arrangements

A relevant qualification in logistics, supply chain management or a related field is preferred
