Logistics Executive – Import/Export & Trade Documentation.

Location: Cecil Street (Two- to three-minute walk from Telok Ayer MRT)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (9am - 6pm)

Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to S$4,500 monthly basic salary + Variable Bonus of approximately three months + Medical and Dental Benefits

Main Responsibilities:

Coordinate customer and supplier orders from purchase order through final delivery.

Liaise with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, carriers and shipping lines to ensure timely shipment execution.

Arrange sea, air and land shipments, including cross-trade and transshipment movements where required.

Prepare and verify commercial invoices, packing lists, customs permits, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, insurance documents and Letter of Credit documentation.

Track shipment progress and provide timely updates to customers and internal stakeholders.

Ensure that trade documents comply with contractual, banking, customs and regulatory requirements.

Follow up on document discrepancies, shipment delays and operational issues.

Maintain complete and organised shipping and trade records.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.

Two to four years of directly relevant experience in international trading, import/export, cross-trade, transshipment or shipping documentation.

Strong working knowledge of Incoterms, international shipping practices and Trade finance terms, including Letter of Credit documentation against Acceptance and Documents against Payment.

Familiarity with freight bookings, customs clearance procedures and coordination with carriers, shipping agents and freight forwarders.
