Quantity Surveyor – Interior Fit-Out & Furniture Projects

Location: Changi

Working hours: Monday to Friday (9am - 6pm)

Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $4,500 Monthly Basic Salary + Performance Bonus + Health & Wellness Benefits

Main Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates, valuations and final accounts for projects.

Analyse and interpret interior design, construction and detailed technical drawings and specifications.

Prepare quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities based on drawings and project requirements.

Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

Negotiate commercial terms and manage subcontractor and supplier contracts.

Monitor and control project costs to ensure projects remain within approved budgets.

Prepare and assess variation orders, progress claims and cost adjustments where required.

Provide cost and commercial advice to Project Managers and other stakeholders.

Identify and mitigate potential commercial and cost-related risks.

Liaise with suppliers, engineers and project teams to resolve commercial, technical and quality-related issues.

Support tender costing and final-account reconciliation where required.

Requirements:

At least 3 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience, preferably in interior fit-out, furniture, renovation or related projects.

Able to read and interpret construction, interior and detailed technical drawings.

Able to perform quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities from drawings and specifications.

Experience evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations.

Familiar with project costing, variations, progress claims and final accounts.

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
