Assistant Buyer/ Purchasing Officer
Location: Ubi, near MRT
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm
Work Arrangement: Hybrid arrangement. Work-from-home may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Main Responsibilities:
Execute purchase orders for direct materials, production-related components and indirect purchases such as office supplies and services.
Monitor, coordinate and expedite deliveries to support production schedules and minimise supply disruption.
Liaise closely with internal departments and suppliers to resolve discrepancies, quality concerns and purchase-related matters promptly.
Support the Sales team in obtaining cost-effective pricing and sourcing suitable materials or services.
Coordinate local and international shipment arrangements, including freight quotations, shipment tracking and customs documentation.
Conduct quarterly supplier performance evaluations with the QA team, covering vendor quality, reliability and delivery performance.
Maintain accurate purchasing records and support other procurement-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Diploma in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
At least 1 to 3 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably within a contract manufacturing environment.
Familiar with ERP systems and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong coordination, organisation and multitasking skills.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required to communicate with existing Mandarin-speaking customers and suppliers on business correspondence, quotations, service updates and follow-ups.
