Strong emphasis on SAP/S4 HANA, general ledger management, and financial reporting.

The Talent
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
4-5 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting.
Working knowledge of SAP, preferably S/4 HANA.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Experience with month-end closing, GL transactions, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Strong attention to detail with good time management and prioritization skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Progress toward a professional qualification such as CPA / CA is advantageous but not mandatory.
Experience with fixed assets, loans, intercompany accounting, AP/AR, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Exposure to SOX controls, audit support, and financial compliance.
Experience supporting SAP users and troubleshooting finance-related system issues.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience driving process improvements and finance transformation initiatives.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
The Job
Perform monthly month-end closing activities, including accruals, prepayments, cost reallocations, and journal entries.
Review general ledger and trial balance transactions and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
Manage monthly SAP period-end closing and locking activities, including annual year-end rollover.
Perform fixed asset depreciation, PPE and intangible asset continuity schedules, and WBS settlements.
Manage loan accounting, including balance reconciliations, interest withholding tax transactions, and revaluations.
Prepare intercompany AP/AR summaries and perform monthly foreign exchange revaluations.
Support share investment revaluations and other liability GL activities.
Complete SOX journal review documentation and provide supporting documentation for audits and FBT queries.
Prepare quarterly ABS exploration and Capex survey submissions.
Act as a key SAP finance user, troubleshooting system issues and supporting internal departments with finance-related errors.
Respond to HQ Finance queries relating to FX, loans, fixed assets, and other finance matters.
Lead and support finance improvement projects, including account reconciliations, fixed asset disposals, and ledger clean-up.
Drive process and template improvements to improve efficiency and reduce month-end close timelines.
Perform ad hoc financial accounting and reporting duties as assigned.
