The Senior Manager, HR & Corporate Affairs will support the General Manager in managing the full spectrum of HR, office administration, and corporate affairs functions. This role supports both local and overseas operations.
Key responsibilities
Human Resources Management
Assist the General Manager in handling the full spectrum of HR functions.
Manage and support recruitment and hiring processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, offer preparation, and onboarding.
Support compensation and benefits administration.
Assist in talent management, employee engagement, performance management, and training-related matters.
Maintain and manage HR information systems and employee records.
Handle matters relating to income tax, employee insurance, work passes, and other HR compliance requirements.
Application for work passes for foreign employees.
Coordinate and administer employee training and development initiatives.
Office Administration and Operations
Supervise daily office operations and ensure smooth functioning of administrative processes.
Oversee non-trade accounts payable and receivable matters.
Review and process sta? expense claims in accordance with company policies.
Organize and coordinate company events, meetings, and internal activities.
Manage company cars, drivers, golf club memberships, hotel bookings, company access cards, and company debit cards.
Oversee workplace safety and health matters.
Manage the handling and safekeeping of original Bills of Lading where required.
Maintain and update the company intranet and internal administrative resources.
Ensure office administration policies, procedures, and records are properly maintained.
Corporate Affairs and Internal Controls
Support corporate a?airs matters, including internal audits, financial audits, and corporate compliance activities.
Support Board of Directors matters
Assist with government-related matters, memberships, grants, and relevant applications.
Act as, or support, the company bank account administrator role.
Manage data subscriptions and related corporate service arrangements.
Support internal control processes, including J-SOX compliance and other governance-related requirements.
Work closely with relevant departments to ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Support for Overseas Office
Provide HR and administrative support to the London Branch Office.
Coordinate with overseas colleagues on HR, administration, compliance, and operational matters where required.
Other Duties
Perform other ad hoc assignments as instructed by the General Manager, Chief Strategy Officer, or company management.
Support cross-functional projects and company initiatives as required.
Job Requirements
Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
Minimum 15 years of relevant working experience, preferably in HR, administration, corporate affairs, or office management.
