Our client is a one of the leading players in the FMCG industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Automation Lead to be part of their Automation Engineering team to support their business needs. They are located in the West - easily accessible.

Job Description :-

~ Formulate a comprehensive strategy for warehouse automation in alignment with Supply Chain objectives, tailored to the specific needs of ambient and cold storage facilities.

~ Evaluate and select suitable automation technologies (e.g., robotics, multi-shuttle, AGV, sortation, etc.) that optimize operations within the allocated budget.

~ Lead the implementation of automation solutions across multiple warehouses, ensuring seamless integration, minimal operational disruptions, and adherence to timelines and budgets. Identify potential risks associated with automation implementation and devise strategies to mitigate them, ensuring business continuity.

~ Collaborate closely with departments such as operations, technology, finance, industrial engineering, and indirect procurement to gather requirements and ensure that automation solutions align with overall business goals. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment for warehouse personnel.

Requirements :-

~ Min 8 years in relevant working experience (warehouse/ distribution centr)

~ Experience with automation control such as Siemens IPC, PLC etc, and able to provide advisory/ insight in automation solutions

~ Comfortable with travelling in differet distribution centre
