Quality Engineer (ISO9000/14000-Mechanical/Facilities)
Location: Tuas Crescent - Company transport provided (Pick up point at Jurong East and Marsiling MRT)
Working hours: 5 days, Monday to Friday (8.30am- 5.00pm)
Salary (commensurate on experience): Up to $4500 + 14 days Annual Leave + Variable Bonus
Duration: Permanent
Industry: Wholesale of diesel-powered generators
Main responsibilities:
Work closely with the Engineering and Production team to develop incoming quality, in-process Quality and Outgoing Quality requirements
Responsible for all Quality plans of all products to meet customers specifications
Work with relevant agencies to adhere to certification requirements when required Work with management to establish/maintain company's QMS and is Management Representative (MR) of company
Work with Procurement/Purchasing to ensure that contractors/suppliers quote/supply items that meet customer's specification.
Working out costing of products when required by management
Responsible for all equipment calibration/maintenance program within the company
Complete other tasks assigned by management
Requirements:
Min 1 year relevant experience
Diploma in Engineering/Degree in Mechanical/ Marine Engineering or equivalent
Experience in handling project Audit and liaise with internal & external auditor
Familiar with ISO9000/14000
Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates in view of business communications
