Job Description

Sales and Merchandising Team Lead/ Manager - Singapore and Indonesia - Up to $9,000

Location : Bendemeer

Working hours : 5 Days Work Week – Monday to Friday, Office Hours

Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $9,000 + Performance Bonus (Up to 2 Months) + 18 Days Annual Leave (Additional 1 day yearly, capped at 21 days) + Medical 

Duration : Perm 

Industry : Good and Well established apparel company 

 


Responsibilities: 


Lead cross-functional Sales and Merchandising teams in Singapore and Indonesia to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Conduct thorough apparel costing and analysis for development and production purposes.

Foster strategic relationships with raw material suppliers to secure optimal pricing and terms.

Ensure timely sampling, testing, and compliance with customer requirements.

Manage Sales Administration and Operations teams to support sales and merchandising tasks.

Oversee sales order creation, material standards compliance, and reporting.

 


Collaborative Responsibilities:


Work closely with Procurement, Planning, and Operations teams to ensure:

Timely delivery of raw materials.

Efficient production processes.

On-time delivery of finished goods meeting customer specifications.

Collaborate to analyze and optimize costs, reducing waste across procurement and production.

Ensure accurate and timely reporting of product production and delivery for Management and customers.

 


Innovation and Sustainability:


Drive product innovation and design to fuel sales growth and expansion.

Explore and develop:

Virtual sampling and design capabilities.

New, innovative apparel products (novel materials, sustainability, wearables).

Collaborate with relevant teams to achieve Group's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) objectives.

Sales growth and customer satisfaction.

Supply chain efficiency and cost optimization.

Product innovation and design success.

ESG objective achievement.

Team performance and development.

 


Requirements:


Minimum 5 years of experience in Merchandising, with at least 2 years as a Merchandiser Manager.

Proven experience in Sales and Merchandising, preferably in the apparel industry.

Strong leadership, team management, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Analytical and strategic thinking.

Familiarity with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients who can converse in Mandarin only
