Accounts Assistant Required in Singapore


Job Description

Accounts Assistant (Payables/GST) – Up to $3,500 + AWS   

Location: Lower Delta Road (2 Bus Stops from Tiong Bahru MRT) 

Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays | 8:30am to 5:30pm 

Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $3,500 + AWS + Medical Benefits + 14 Days Annual Leave + Variable Bonus 

Duration: Permanent 

Industry: General Contractor  

 


Responsibilities: 


Consolidating of all suppliers invoices for payment at month end

Being a key point of contact for other departments on accounting matters

Document control – to check completeness of documents (Invoices, Delivery Order, Purchase Order, Quotation)

Processing of petty cash reimbursement

Handle General Ledger, Monthly and Year End Closing.

Assist in the preparation of budgeting

Prepare monthly reporting and quarterly GST Submission

Manage audit/tax queries and provide information as required by external auditors and tax agent

Preparing profits & loss, balance sheets or month-end and year-end closing

Assist in general admin duties of the company, eg, purchasing of stationery, filling of forms, etc.

Any ad-hoc HR simple duties assignment tasked by the head of department

 


Requirements: 


Minimum of Nitec / Diploma in Accounting with at least 1 year of working experience. 

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook etc 

Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with associates who can only speak Mandarin
