Job Scope
Lead the design and implementation of manufacturing and assembly processes that optimise production and meet target specifications
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production and quality teams to identify opportunities for process improvements
Conduct detailed analysis to evaluate the manufacturability and assembly feasibility of new product designs
Develop and maintain engineering documentation, work instructions and standard operating procedures
Provide technical expertise and training to manufacturing personnel to ensure adherence to processes and quality standards
Monitor production metrics and KPIs to identify areas for continuous improvement
Stay up-to-date with the latest manufacturing trends, technologies and best practices
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in a design for manufacturing and assembly role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport and logistics industry.
Safety Certified, minimum BizSafe Level 2
Experience in construction materials manufacturing
Proven track record of successfully implementing innovative manufacturing and assembly processes
Proficient in process design, industrial engineering, and operations management
Strong problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Design or a related field
