Position : QA/QC cum Procurement Executive
Location : Bedok North
Working hours : 5 days (Monday - Friday: 8:30am-5:30pm), Alternate Saturday (8:30am to 1:00pm)
Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $3700 + AWS

Main Responsibilities:
Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance procedures to ensure food safety and compliance with industry standards such as HACCP, ISO 22000:2018 and Halal.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of production process to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Perform routine in-process checks to ensure products meet required quality standard before product release.
Maintain accurate records of lab test results, sampling schedule, non-conformance reports, and certificates of analysis.
To accept, evaluate and monitor quality of raw materials, assist in supplier audits and address quality concerns.
Investigate production deviations, identify root causes and collaborate with production team to implement corrective actions.
Provide training to production staff on food safety practices and quality standards, promoting awareness across the organisation.
As the primary point of contact to ensure compliance with food safety standards and participate in internal / external audits to maintain certifications and quality systems.
To be a Halal Team Member and have passed the Halal Competency Assessment (HCA)
Responsible for implementing MUIS Halal Certification conditions and to rectify any non-compliance issues.
Work closely with production team to forecast demand and align procurement schedules
Monitor stock levels and coordinate just-in-time deliveries to minimise wastage & storage
Requirements
At least 2 years’ experience in QA / QC or Procurement preferably from food manufacturing
Possess Halal Competency Assessment (HCA) but not a must
NITEC/Diploma in Food Technology or Food Science
Experience in implementing and/or maintaining MUIS Halal Certification & ISO22000
