Responsibilities
Support payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate salary payments
Manage payroll-related claims such as overtime and reimbursements
Assist with salary reviews, promotions, and performance appraisals
Support insurance matters including medical and work injury coverage
Handle statutory submissions such as government-paid leave claims and tax clearance (IR21)
Coordinate recruitment activities for new and replacement roles
Work with stakeholders to understand hiring needs
Liaise with recruitment agencies and manage job postings
Support internship programs with educational institutions
Conduct candidate screening and selection
Assist in training needs analysis and annual training planning
Support training budget preparation and tracking
Coordinate onboarding, compliance training, and HR orientation
Facilitate employee development programs and government grant applications
Plan and organize employee engagement activities and company events
Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes
Support employee lifecycle activities including promotions, transfers, and exits
Maintain organizational charts and HR records
Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements
Assist with workplace safety and health matters
Prepare manpower and headcount reports
Handle ad hoc HR tasks as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor or Diploma Human Resource Management or a related field
At least 2 - 3 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably from retail/ wholesale/ FMCG-related industry
