Adecco is partnering with a harbour and marine construction main contractor to hire a Site Engineer. This role will support the execution of harbour, coastal, and depot projects, with responsibilities in site coordination, progress tracking, and ensuring quality and safety on site.
The Job:
Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities
Ensure works follow drawings, specifications, and method statements
Work with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
Monitor site progress and report delays or issues
Prepare method statements, shop drawings, and technical submissions
Resolve basic site and technical issues
Ensure quality of works and pass inspections with consultants/RE
Enforce safety practices and comply with WSH requirements
Maintain site records and progress reports
The Talent:
Degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum 5 years of site experience (marine, harbour, or depot projects preferred)
Able to read, write and speak Chinese is preferred due to liaison with Chinese-speaking counterparts
Able to read drawings and understand construction methods
Good coordination and problem-solving skills
Willing to work on-site environment
Experience in piling, concrete, or marine works
Familiar with Singapore standards (BCA, LTA, PUB)
Comfortable to work at West and Central of Singapore
