The Opportunity: Production Supervisor (Filter, Manufacturing, Non shift)
You'll lead daily manufacturing operations, driving production, quality, and efficiency while guiding a team of technicians and operators. The role offers hands?on problem solving, continuous improvement ownership, and involvement in new product introductions, with close collaboration across teams in a strong safety?focused environment.
Working hours: Mon to Fri, office hours.
The Job:
Responsible for strategizing, planning, and execution of daily manufacturing activities to meet production goals.
Lead a team of technicians and production operators to meet daily production output, quality performance, productivity and cost.
Resolve and handle line related issues and understand equipment capacities or constraint to identify, handle and resolve bottleneck situations.
Drive continuous improvement programs for operational excellence.
Coordinate and provide support for new product introduction activities
Collaborate with management, internal stakeholders and contract manufacturers regarding project status, progress and issue resolution.
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies and site safety through hazard identification and prevention.
Undertake any other duties as assigned by superiors from time to time.
The Talent:
Bachelor's degree in engineering with at least 5 years relevant experience in manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge in manufacturing management principles and concepts, as well as quality systems.
Demonstrated background in Lean Manufacturing and driving continuous improvement projects.
Experience in writing Standard Operating Procedures for the factories and various production performance reports.
Knowledge of safety requirements.
Good leadership and people management skills.
Self-motivated and able to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Experience working with US based teams, or stakeholders will be an added advantage
