We are seeking a QA/QC Engineer (Building Construction) to join a construction main contractor team. This permanent role offers a structured 5.5-day work schedule (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Saturday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM) with project-based working locations. The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive salary package comprising basic salary, discretionary bonus, and telephone allowance while contributing to quality excellence across building construction projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Review project specifications, construction requirements, and drawings to ensure alignment with quality standards and project quality plans.
• Report QA/QC progress, findings, and quality issues to the QMR and Project Manager.
• Prepare, update, and manage QA/QC documentation, including PQP, ITP, checklists, test records, mock-ups, material submissions, reports, drawings, letters, and forms.
• Support ISO, safety, CONQUAS, client, site, cross-project, and internal audits by coordinating follow-up actions and ensuring report closure.
• Coordinate quality-control processes with Operations, Design, production, and project teams to support effective implementation.
• Monitor, record, and follow up on NCRs and NCNs until closure.
• Maintain document-control procedures and oversee the distribution and submission of drawings and documents to relevant parties.
• Carry out site inspections and surveillance activities with clients, REs, RTOs, and subcontractors to verify workmanship and compliance.
• Inspect delivered materials and review supporting documents such as test certificates, expiry dates, quality records, and quantities to identify discrepancies.
• Conduct or coordinate audits for suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants when required.
• Liaise with BCA and compile monthly quality-performance reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the management team.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of QA/QC experience in construction or civil-engineering projects.
• Proven experience working on condominium projects is required.
• Strong knowledge of concrete technology and quality-assurance and quality-control procedures.
• Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
