Accounts Executive (Project Accounting / AR & AP)

Working hours : Monday to Friday | 8.30am to 5.30pm

Location: Kaki Bukit

Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $4000 Basic + Minimum 1-4 months Variable Bonus + 15 days Annual Leaves + Medical Benefits + Dental

Main responsibilities :

Process purchase orders and supplier payments promptly.

Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections and ageing reports.

Perform supplier statement, bank and account reconciliations.

Maintain inventory records, monitor stock movements and conduct quarterly stock takes.

Coordinate shipment documentation, GST declarations and quarterly GST filings.

Support month-end and year-end closing, including journal entries, accruals and account reconciliations.

Update project cost sheets and support accurate billing and revenue recognition.

Prepare financial reports and assist with audits by providing schedules and supporting documents.

Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers on finance-related matters.

Coordinate business travel arrangements, including flight, hotel and visa bookings.

Support continuous improvement of finance processes and perform other duties assigned.

Requirement:

Diploma in Accounting or equivalent.

LCCI, CAT or equivalent accounting qualification will be an advantage.

At least 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in engineering, trading, import/export or project-based industries.

Experience in inventory accounting, project costing and billing will be an advantage.

Familiar with GST, month-end closing and financial reporting.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.

Knowledge of import/export documentation and logistics processes will be an advantage.
