As a Procurement Executive (Healthcare), you will be responsible for the following duties:
Manage end-to-end procurement of pharmaceutical products, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing.
Source and evaluate suppliers, manage tenders, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Monitor supplier contracts and pricing to ensure compliance with agreed terms.
Forecast medication demand and coordinate inventory replenishment to prevent stock shortages and product expiry.
Process purchase orders and track deliveries using ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Business Central).
Coordinate medication distribution, including urgent repacking and dispatch to clinics.
Ensure proper handling and storage of temperature-sensitive medications in accordance with cold chain requirements.
Ensure procurement activities comply with healthcare regulations and internal quality standards.
Maintain accurate procurement records to support audits and regulatory compliance.
Manage product recalls and address medication quality or packaging issues.
Reconcile purchase orders, delivery orders, goods received notes (GRNs), and invoices with the finance team.
Prepare procurement reports and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
Possess a min Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Pharmacy, or a related field
