As a Warehouse Supervisor (Retail Industry), you will be responsible for the following duties:
Manage, support, plan, and oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory management and control processes, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Ensure all warehouse activities are carried out accurately, efficiently, and within established timelines.
Maintain proper and accurate storage, labelling, and placement of all goods within the warehouse.
Oversee order fulfilment activities, including picking, packing, and dispatch, to ensure timely delivery and minimal fulfilment errors.
Lead, supervise, and motivate a warehouse team of approximately 10 staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
Collaborate closely with retail operations and cross-functional teams to resolve daily operational and logistical issues.
Review and improve warehouse workflows and processes to enhance productivity, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in retail logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations
Experience with ERP and/or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) will be an added advantage.
