The Opportunity
Join a Global Manufacturing Leader as a Senior Accountant, managing Financial Closing, Financial Reporting, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Intercompany Accounting in a multinational environment.
Take ownership of Month-End / Year-End Closing, Inventory Reconciliation, Cost & Variance Analysis, Audit Support and Billing, while contributing to ERP enhancement, Finance Automation, Process Improvement and Internal Controls
The Job
Lead month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing, including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, provisions, adjustments and balance sheet reconciliations.
Prepare monthly management reports, financial reporting schedules and GL analysis, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with IFRS/FRS and Group accounting policies.
Manage cost accounting and inventory accounting, including inventory reconciliation, physical stock counts, manufacturing cost analysis and standard costing / variance analysis.
Handle intercompany accounting, including intercompany invoicing, reconciliations, cross-border transactions and resolution of intercompany balances and discrepancies.
Prepare and process manual invoices, debit notes and credit notes, ensuring accurate billing, proper documentation, approvals and timely revenue cut-off.
Support cash flow forecasting, budgeting and financial planning, including monitoring cash movements and identifying opportunities for cash flow optimisation.
Coordinate internal and external audits, GST/tax reporting and preparation of audit schedules, financial statements and supporting documentation.
Work closely with internal stakeholders, including regional finance, commercial and marketing teams, to resolve accounting, billing and overdue receivables matters.
Support ERP system enhancements, finance automation, reporting standardisation and process improvement initiatives to improve reporting efficiency and internal controls.
Perform financial analysis, reconciliations and ad-hoc finance projects, supporting management in maintaining accurate and timely financial information.
The Talent
Diploma / Degree in Accounting or Finance, ACCA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
Minimum 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience with hands-on exposure to month-end/year-end closing, full-set accounting and financial reporting.
Strong experience in Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Standard Costing, Manufacturing Variance Analysis, Intercompany Accounting and Reconciliation.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong knowledge of GL Accounting, IFRS/FRS, Revenue Recognition, Financial Reporting and Internal Controls, ERP experience is preferred.
Experience in manufacturing, cross-border intercompany transactions, Transfer Pricing or Power BI is advantageous.
