Job Description

Position : Operations Manager (Customer Service Department -Electrical Equipment)

 Location : Joo Seng Road (Nearest MRT : Tai Seng  MRT - 13 minute walk)

 Working hours : 5 days work week; Monday-Friday, 8.30 -5.30

 Salary (commensurate with experience) : Basic Up to $8500 + AWS + 14 Days Annual Leave 

 Duration : Permanent

 Industry :  Leading manufacturer of utility and electrical solutions 

 


 


Main Responsibilities:


Supervise the day-to-day operation of the Customer Service Office.

 Manage workloads, provide support and guidance to the Customer Service team.

Provide first class support to Customers, the External Sales team and the International Sales Office.

Ensure Quotations/Orders are processed accurately in line with appropriate contract terms and conditions.

Ensure compliance with Project Pricing guidelines. 

Liaise with External Sales on Customer Quotation and Orders.

Manage the day-to-day activities of the sales and offer teams.

Ensure Health and Safety Standards are compliant with company's policy and Singapore Law.

Assist in the forecasting of Orders for the Sales Manager APAC

Ensure all Staff receive adequate and consistent training in Products and processes

Manage the recruitment of Internal Office functional departments

Manage the development of all staff inclusive of Pay for Performance

 


 


Requirements:


Strong leader, with at least 3 years’ experience of successfully leading and managing diverse teams, ideally in a sales office or similar

Technical knowledge of selling various types of electrical equipment within the harsh, oil and gas sectors.

Demonstrates excellent commercial acumen, creativity and an ability to plan and implement highly effective, revenue generating commercial strategies.

Demonstrates sound financial management skills.

ERP and various production planning skills is preferred

Good knowledge of SAP T-codes  and workflow

Experience in leading a team that can manage the tender processes and commercial negotiations.

Strong analytical skills reflecting an ability to manipulate and interpret data, to provide meaningful and useful analysis for decision making purposes.

Customer focused, with effective relationship management skills and able to achieve sales objectives.

External Sales experience will be preferred

Have a proven track record of identifying the capability needs of an organization and of developing individuals and teams to match those requirements.

Reliable, positive, with a hands-on approach and a ‘can do’ attitude.
