Assistant Engineer Required in Singapore
Job Description
Assistant Engineer (Assembly/Industrial Automation) - Up To $4,500 + AWS
Location : Woodlands (4 Bus Stops from Admiralty MRT)
Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays | 8:30am to 5:30pm
Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $4,500 + Commission + AWS + Variable Bonus (Up to 2 months) + 12 – 16 Days of Annual Leave + Medical Benefits
Duration : Permanent

Responsibilities:
Responsible for assembly, debug and test run of customized modular machines and it’s commissioning.
Provide on-site technical support at customer premise for equipment operation.
Perform design modifications through: Simplified design, reduced parts, using cheaper alternatives.
Procure and/or assist in the procurement of necessary items to enable the performance of above duties.
Writing and maintenance of all necessary documentations, work and assembly instructions, manufacturing and test procedures
Requirements:
Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with at least2 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of industrial automation, jigs and fixture design, FMEA, SPC, CAD as well as experience in machine design are added advantages
Required to travel when necessary
Bilingual in English & Mandarin to liaise with associates who can only speak Mandarin.
