The Production Executive is responsible for leading and coordinating a team of production operators and technicians to ensure daily production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are consistently met. This role requires strong leadership, operational planning, and cross-functional collaboration to drive productivity, ensure workplace safety, and support continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor.

The Job
Lead and supervise production teams to achieve daily output targets, production schedules, and quality standards.
Plan and coordinate daily workflow, ensuring efficient allocation of manpower and resources.
Prepare and manage duty rosters for operators and technicians, including overtime planning.
Collaborate closely with the production planner to ensure timely execution of shipment schedules.
Partner with cross-functional teams including engineering and quality to resolve production issues.
Compile and monitor monthly reports on Overall Equipment Effectiveness and material wastage.
Analyze production losses and high wastage areas.
Implement corrective and preventive actions as required.
Drive proactive measures to prevent non-conformities related to product, processes, and quality systems.
Ensure seamless communication and handover between production shifts.
Enforce compliance with safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Guide the operators and technicians, maintain discipline and manage their performance appraisals.
Maintain a safe production environment, including department housekeeping and security management of the production floor.
Conduct investigations for any workplace accidents and submit reports to the Safety Committee.
Identify training needs for technicians and ensure their effective onboarding and development.
The Talent
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Strong background in manufacturing processes and team management.
Proficient in data analysis with a focus on continuous process improvement.
Good understanding of current manufacturing methodologies and industry best practices.
Shows ownership, initiative, and operational management mindset.
