Job Description

Singaporean ONLY Senior Accounts Executive (Diploma/Full set/SAP/North)

Responsibilities:


Assist in managing the daily financial and accounting functions of the Company.


Forecasting cash payments and anticipating challenges arising from cash flow if any.


Communicate with sales personnel to verify status of delinquent accounts/billing discrepancies/question on overdue accounts (initiate collections on past-due accounts).


Fixed Asset maintenance. Prepare data entry of Fixed Assets invoices into SAP and file all records (depreciation, CIP and assets capitalization).


Prepare necessary standard journal vouchers such as depreciation, lease provision & etc., and key into SAP.


Ensure the monthly closing activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner (prior end check list).


Verifying financial statements, ledgers and accounts and making corrections where appropriate.


Analyse significant monthly expense variance against budgeted number.


Preparing financial and budget reports.


Perform IFRS quarterly consolidation package submission.


Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.


Preparing audits schedule, FS, audit confirmation letters to banks, IC balance and reviews as required by auditor.


Support in the preparation of year-end corporate tax assessment submission.


Assist Head Finance to ensure a clean and timely financial year end audit.


Support EDB and government statistics annual survey.


Responds to inquiries from the head office/other external party regarding accounting matter.


Assist in SAP FICO module - financial accounting, costing, monitoring of variance etc.


Perform any assigned ad-hop task/s.




Requirements:


·        Minimum Diploma/ACCA/Degree in Accountancy.


·        Able to handle full set of accounts at least 3 to 5 years of working experience in finance, accounting or audit.


·        Experience working in an ERP-based computerized environment and demonstrated supervisory skills.


·        Familiarity with financial reporting, budgeting, or audit processes is preferred.


·        Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. SAP/ERP).


·        Strong Excel skills (e,g. pivot tables, VLOOKUP).


·        Analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to details and time management skills.


·        Communication and interpersonal abilities.


·        Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines (such as monthly and quarterly reporting).


·        Willingness to work overtime during financial closings or audits (if required).
