The Opportunity
Opportunity to take ownership of strategic key accounts, partner closely with retailers to drive sustainable business growth, and position yourself as a trusted advisor by shaping account strategies and delivering impactful, data-driven solutions in a dynamic FMCG environment.
The Talent
At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in sales or key account roles within FMCG, retail, or distribution sectors
Demonstrated track record in maintaining, expanding, and strengthening existing retail partnerships
Commercially savvy, with a clear focus on driving account performance and execution excellence
Strong enthusiasm for the pet industry, with curiosity about market trends, products, and consumer behavior
Thrives in dynamic, fast-moving environments with evolving priorities and minimal structure
Adaptable and resilient, able to pivot quickly and find practical solutions when circumstances shift
Proactive and entrepreneurial in mindset - spots gaps, takes ownership, and initiates action independently
Effective communicator with strong coordination, influencing, and negotiation capabilities
Self-sufficient and disciplined, able to perform well with limited oversight
Possess Valid Class 3 driving licence, with mobility to meet clients as part of day-to-day duties
The Job
Act as the main liaison for a portfolio of priority retail partners
Expand existing business by identifying opportunities for range extension, cross-category growth, and strategic collaboration
Improve account-level performance across sell-in, sell-through, and promotional activities
Take full accountability for account outcomes, including revenue delivery, distribution coverage, execution standards, and relationship management
Establish and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with decision-makers and frontline store teams
Oversee end-to-end order processing to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery
Anticipate and address logistics, inventory, or operational challenges proactively
Maintain ownership of issues through to resolution, ensuring minimal disruption to accounts
Coordinate and execute in-store campaigns, roadshows, and new product rollouts with retail partners
Represent the brand at trade shows, pet fairs, and relevant industry events
Support on-the-ground sales initiatives to enhance customer engagement and brand visibility
Provide timely updates on in-store execution, pricing dynamics, and product performance
Share insights on competitor movements, customer responses, and retailer feedback
Collaborate closely with management to refine account plans and sales strategies
