Acounts Executive
Location: Shenton Way
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 9.00AM to 6.00PM
Salary: Basic up to $5,000 + 1 Month Completion Bonus

Our client is an established international organisation with operations in the maritime and energy-related sector. They are currently looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to support general ledger accounting, month-end closing, tax reporting, cash flow planning and finance administration.
This role offers broad exposure across accounting operations, including general ledger review, GST reporting, cash flow forecasting, audit support, lease accounting and tax schedules. It is suitable for an experienced accountant who enjoys hands-on work while coordinating closely with outsourced service providers and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Process non-trade invoices, staff claims and payment postings.
Review GL entries and postings prepared by outsourced providers.
Prepare journal supporting documents and fixed asset depreciation.
Update balance sheet schedules for month-end closing.
Prepare bi-weekly SGD cash flow forecasts.
Handle quarterly GST returns and basic corporate tax schedules.
Support annual audit confirmations and counterparty requests.
Collate information for IR8A and IR21 submissions.
Review lease accounting calculations and payment batches.
Support loan documentation and expatriate accommodation payments.
Requirements:
Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification.
Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of GL accounting, month-end closing and GST.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
Shipping or maritime industry experience will be advantageous.
Good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Ability to commence work at short notice will be advantageous
Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required to communicate with customers and overseas stakeholders who primarily use Mandarin for business discussions and written correspondence.
