Join a book publisher as a Sales Executive (Educational) based in Bukit Merah, working a 5-day Monday to Friday schedule from 9am to 6.30pm. This is a permanent role offering a salary package of basic salary, commission, and performance bonus, ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships in the education sector and promoting learning resources.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop a strong understanding of the company’s educational assessment books, including their features and target users.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with schools and teachers by identifying their needs and recommending suitable books.
- Present and promote educational assessment books through meetings, presentations, and events.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify sales opportunities and support product improvements.
- Assist customers with order placement and coordinate timely delivery of orders.
- Follow up after sales to address customer enquiries, concerns, or service issues.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets to contribute to business growth.
What We’re Looking For
- Diploma or higher in any field.
- At least 2 years of sales experience, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Interest in the education sector and supporting students’ success.
- Self-motivated and proactive in managing sales activities.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
- Flexible with work schedules.
