Location: Taiseng
Responsibilities:
Manage full sets of accounts for multiple entities, including General Ledger, journals, cash and fixed assets, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable.
Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing, with proper reconciliation of debtors, creditors, and supporting financial records.
Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders, delivery orders, and supporting documents.
Prepare and execute payments such as GIRO and telegraphic transfers in a timely manner.
Handle intercompany transactions, rebilling, and bank/balance sheet reconciliations.
Prepare invoices and resolve any discrepancies.
Assist with statutory financial statements, tax submissions, and regulatory compliance.
Monitor cash flow, including monthly forecasts and daily updates.
Manage petty cash claims and maintain vendor records in the accounting system.
Support audit processes and ensure transactions comply with company policies and approvals.
Perform other ad-hoc finance duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Diploma/Degree in accountancy/LCCI or similar accounting qualification
Minimum 3 to 5 years of full sets accounting experience, preferably from shipping industry
Independent worker as well as a good team player, able to work in a fast paced environment
Effective communication skills
Proficient Microsoft office skills, prior experience with using Navision/business central is a distinct advantage
Meticulous and accurate with data
