The Opportunity
Adecco is partnering with a leading global technology company to search for a Billing Customer Service Specialist.
This role is a contractual assignment with an initial tenure of 12 months.
The position follows a hybrid work arrangement with regular office hours, based at CBD.
Candidates who are immediately available/able to start work within short notice will be preferred.
The Talent
Minimum 1+ year of experience in billing support, payment operations, or finance-related customer service
Experience in a technology or SaaS environment is highly preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin
Mandarin speaking proficiency is required to support stakeholders/customers/partners who are only able to speak mandarin.
Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
High level of empathy and professionalism when handling sensitive financial conversations
Ability to manage high volumes of inquiries in a fast-paced environment
High integrity and discretion in handling confidential financial information
Experience with payment gateways (e.g. Stripe, PayPal) and subscription-based billing models will be an advantage
The Job
Serve as the primary point of contact for billing-related inquiries, including payments, refunds, and subscriptions, across email, chat, and other channels
Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, transaction failures, and billing issues by working with internal systems and external payment partners
Clearly communicate billing policies, subscription details, and financial information to customers and partners
Analyze trends in billing-related feedback to recommend improvements to processes, systems, and user experience
Collaborate with finance, engineering, sales, and other cross-functional teams to resolve complex billing cases
Manage internal and external stakeholders, supporting both customers and business partners
