Customer Service Executive (Freight Forwarding/ Shipping)
Location: Bukit Merah
Working Hours: 5 days, 8.30am to 5.00pm
Salary: Up to $4,600 + Variable Bonus

Responsibilities:
Handle customer enquiries and provide timely, accurate shipment updates.
Coordinate shipment bookings and follow up closely with internal teams, agents, vendors and logistics partners.
Prepare, check and maintain shipping, freight and logistics-related documentation.
Assist with shipment coordination, including import/export documents, delivery updates and service follow-up.
Support customers on shipment status, documentation requirements and service-related matters.
Liaise with operations, warehouse, transporters, carriers and overseas partners where required.
Assist in resolving customer service issues, shipment delays, documentation discrepancies and operational follow-ups.
Maintain accurate records of bookings, shipment updates, customer instructions and related documents.
Support daily logistics administration and ensure proper filing and data entry.
Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth coordination and timely completion of shipment-related tasks.
Requirements:
At least 2 years of customer service experience in logistics, freight forwarding, shipping, supply chain or related industries.
Good working knowledge of shipment coordination, freight documentation, Incoterms and basic customs processes.
Able to communicate professionally with customers, vendors, agents and internal stakeholders.
Good follow-up skills and able to manage multiple shipments, enquiries and deadlines.
Responsible, cooperative and willing to assist colleagues when required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook and Word.
Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, International Trade or related discipline is preferred.
Candidates with hands-on experience in freight forwarding, import/export coordination, sea freight, air freight or shipping documentation will have an advantage.
Able to work independently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates who can only communicate in Mandarin.
