Job Description
Review and reconcile inter-company balances across multiple entities.
Extract, analyse, and consolidate accounting data from ERP systems and financial records.
Prepare schedules, supporting documentation, and working papers to facilitate inter-company settlements.
Liaise with external parties including tax consultants, banks, auditors, and corporate service providers to facilitate transaction execution.
Support finance teams in preparing documentation required for corporate liquidation and restructuring activities.
Prepare year-end financial statements and supporting schedules for dormant companies.
Perform reconciliations and ensure compliance with applicable accounting and statutory reporting requirements.
Handle month-end closing activities for dormant overseas entities.
Extract and compile accounting information, financial schedules, and supporting documents required for routine tax compliance filings.
Respond to queries from external tax agents and other professional advisors.
Maintain proper records of tax filings, correspondence, and supporting documentation.
Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial providers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of statutory and tax requirements.
Support projects including entity liquidation, tax health checks, and tax audits.
Ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting records for audit, tax, and governance purposes.
Perform other finance and project-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
Experience in financial reporting, inter-company accounting, tax compliance, treasury, or corporate restructuring/liquidation activities will be advantageous.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
Experience preparing statutory financial statements and supporting tax compliance processes is preferred.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract, analyse, and interpret financial data.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) is preferred.
Ability to coordinate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
